Metro Service Uses Activate LMS
How Metro Service implemented our LMS for their training needs.
Metro Service chose to use Activate LMS to handle tests, certifications, training and much more.
Metro Service has been using Activate LMS since the summer of 2014. They turned to ElearningSpecialist because they were not satisfied with their existing LMS, which was both too expensive and did not meet all the requirements they had for their LMS.
"We were looking for an e-learning platform that would cover our very basic needs for distributing and tracking e-learning, be simple to use for users, and easy to administer.

Training in developing e-learning
In connection with the launch of Activate LMS, ElearningSpecialist held workshops in Articulate Storyline with the aim of enabling Metro Service to develop e-learning itself in the future.
E-learning, traceable documents and online question database
Metro Service has been diligent and has benefited greatly from Activate LMS and Articulate Storyline. After almost four years, their Activate LMS includes:
- Almost 200 in-house developed tests and modules, primarily focusing on security and compliance, but also including CSR e-learning, onboarding for new employees and standard courses, such as e-learning on Microsoft Office.
- Over 100 documents. Activate LMS allows you to track documents assigned to users, ensuring they have viewed them.
- Over 700 questions created in the central question database via Activate LMS's built-in quiz tool. These questions can be extracted for various randomized tests and certifications. Metro Service has also used this tool to develop and hold various polls regarding occupational health and safety representatives, etc. Metro Service uses workflow rules in Activate LMS to automatically and continuously activate modules and send emails to users.
Single sign-on
Single sign-on has been implemented so that Metro Services users do not have to remember usernames and passwords to log in securely to Activate LMS.
